What is the Role of Quality Assurance in DevOps Initiatives?

DevOps. Short term for a big concept. It seems obvious that any DevOps initiative in an organization tries to reconcile application development and application operations. But is it really possible? Can we overcome decades of distrust and disrespect for each other? Anders Abel has his list of what developers think of operations and vice versa, it is an interesting and funny read but at the same time sad. Grown up, capable, probably smart engineers blaming and pointing fingers at each other the heat of a fire fight when the users of your revenue making application can’t access it or they experience poor performance. As I say sad, sad, sad.
